A Groom from Indonesia followed Google Maps and mistakenly reached the wrong destination for his Wedding. Interestingly, another Wedding was about to take place there & he almost got married to the wrong woman.
After Google Maps misled him to the wrong location, an Indonesian man almost married the wrong woman. On Sunday, there were two ceremonies in the same village – a wedding and an engagement – which appears to have caused the mix-up.
Ulfa, the 27-year-old woman whose engagement was called off, had no idea the man had gone to the wrong house while she was being attended to by the make-up artist.
“However, they were welcomed by my family, and they proceeded to exchange gifts,” Ulfa told the Indonesian news portal Tribunnews.
Fortunately, a man’s side member realised they had made a mistake and were at the wrong location.
“They claimed Google Maps directed them to the house,” Ulfa said.
Before leaving, the group apologised for the misunderstanding.
Ulfa claimed that his fiancé and his friends were late because they stopped on the way to use the restroom.
“I was shocked when I saw the man’s group because I didn’t recognise any of them,” she said.
Her fiancé is from Kendal, and the man who crashed her engagement party was from Pemalang, she added.
Her family later assisted the man and his family in getting to the correct location.
Previously, photos of another Indonesian groom at his wedding wearing nothing but a pair of shorts went viral. He also had an arm sling on his shoulder, as well as bandages on various parts of his body.
