A woman from California thought her stomach grew heavy after eating a sandwich, but she later discovered she was pregnant. She underwent numerous tests, all of which revealed that she was pregnant, and that she had been for five months.
When a woman took a home test on the spur of the moment, she discovered she was five months pregnant.
While attending a concert, Jasmin Miller, who was a size 8 for much of her pregnancy, mistook her baby bump for bloating.
In July 2019, the 24-year-old told her mother Erica that she felt unusually full after eating a tomato sandwich while watching Billie Eilish perform, prompting them to joke that she might be pregnant.
Her mother, on the other hand, encouraged her to take a test just in case, and she soon discovered the truth, giving birth to Leighton three months later.
A woman found out she was five months pregnant when she took a home test on the spur of the moment.

The 24-year-old told her mother Erica in July 2019 that she felt unusually full after eating a tomato sandwich while watching Billie Eilish perform, leading them to speculate that she was pregnant.
Her mother, on the other hand, encouraged her to take a test just in case, and she did, and three months later, she gave birth to Leighton.
Jasmin also attributed her severe cramping to the symptoms of a stomach illness she was experiencing.
The pregnancy perplexed the recent UCLA graduate as well, because she had actually lost weight during this time, going from a size 10 to a size 8.
“I had a boyfriend who wasn’t super serious, and neither of us were ready to start a family,” Jasmin explained.
She did, however, take a test to assuage her mother’s fears, and when the results were positive, she took several more just to be sure.
“I was freaking out, having no idea what to do,” Jasmin admitted.
She drove to see her mother, who was overcome with emotion at the news, as she had been a young single mother herself at the age of 24 and was well aware of the difficulties.
Jasmin went to Planned Parenthood the next day, but she was undecided despite the option of termination.
She went to the doctor for the first time four days later, and an ultrasound revealed she was 19 weeks and five days pregnant.
Jasmin revealed the news to the baby’s father, who is now her ex-boyfriend, whom she had broken up with just two weeks prior, describing herself as “so scared” and “in shock.”
She didn’t see him again for the rest of the pregnancy after he accused her of lying about using contraception.
She kept her pregnancy a secret for the next 12 weeks because she was afraid of being judged by her peers.
“It’s so embarrassing now that I let those people prevent me from fully celebrating such a special time in my life,” Jasmin admitted.
Worryingly, Jasmin went into labour at 32 weeks pregnant in October 2019 and gave birth to a 3lb 14.6oz baby girl.
However, because her baby wasn’t breathing, she was rushed to the hospital’s newborn intensive care unit, where she remained for another two months, until she reached the weight of 6 pounds.
“After spending two months in the NICU and spending 12 hours a day with the nurses, I learned so much that I felt more prepared when I left,” Jasmin said.
“I felt ready and adjusted before she arrived, but after she arrived, I was completely befuddled.” Saying’my daughter’ took a long time to feel semi-normal.”
Jasmin has documented her unexpected path to parenthood on TikTok, using the handle @jasminandleighto, in the hopes of assisting other young mothers.
“Imagining my life without [Leighton] and where I would be if she hadn’t come along is crazy,” she said.
“Every day, she pushes me to be a better person.”
